Installation + Durational Performance of 144hours,

Curated by HH Art Spaces| Adil Shah Palace, Serendipity Art Festival, Goa, 2016

In our exploration of the urban landscape, we discovered the intertwining nature of Urban Anxiety and the pervasive sense of Missingness, unveiling a complex interplay of emotional and structural phenomena. Urban Anxiety, born from the pressures of modernity and the fear of disconnection, permeated the cityscape with its constant undercurrent of unease and alienation. Simultaneously, Missingness revealed itself as the structural absence of human connection and intimacy, evident in the fragmented social fabric and vanishing communal spaces. By redefining Urban Anxiety as a manifestation of Missingness, my project delved into the intricate relationship between individual experience and urban infrastructure. Through a 144-hour durational performance at Adil Shah Palace, Serendipity Art Festival, Goa, 2016, which illuminated the hidden dimensions of Urban Anxiety and Missingness, inviting audiences to engage with and reflect upon their own interactions with the urban environment.
